Im gonna miss Turkey soo much. Soo soo soo very much. It's been filled with lovely surprises and I will miss my host family, the kids at TEGV and the friends Ive made here very much.
*sighz*
I will miss the Parties, Picnics and Cha-Cha Lessons with the Kids. English lessons is simply exasperating but it has its funny moments when kids can't spell and they write "SEX" instead of "SIX", or when they start singing "One little two little three little HINDISTANS (turkish word for indians)" and totally screw up an english song. *hecks*
And whenever you ask the kids:
"HOW ARE YOU?"They would reply hastily:
"FINE THANKS AND YOU."and before you can shoot them a reply, they walk away or do not care to listen to your next reply.BECAUSE THEY WERE TAUGHT:"FINE THANKS AND YOU." IS A FULL SENTENCE. ONE meaning. Not:"Fine Thanks. And you?" (Can you spot two sentences with two totally diff. meaning?)
Hobbit and I were boggled by the kids' english conversational skills and we spent one weeks trying to rectify this problem during english lessons! *hecks*

Oh! We managed to catch the World Cup in Taksim square. Taksim is the "orchard road+clarke quay+ms" of Istanbul. Really happening!
well. I din really watch the match though. It was simply too draggy.
Only Sami die die must watch the match and sat in the park with the Turks, French and Italians, staring into one massive TV screen.
The GBGS society decided to splurge for once and ate at a 5-star Cafe in Taksim! (Sami is happy in the cold watching men kicking ball)
Turkish Desserts! I hate puddings. But we tried a turkish specialty!
MILK PUDDING WITH CHICKEN BREAST MEAT.YESH! Wonder how it taste like? NOT BAD actually! The meat is sooo fine that it feels like pork floss, tat kinda of texture, mixed with milky pudding. (but i still hate puddings.)
okie Im gonna end off my entry with a Random Ahbeng pic of clarence.
"You said you wanted the pic!"So here's the pic.
Remember to pass me the
Said Nursi book, the
Koran in english book and the
freakonomics book hor.
Thanks bro. *hecks*
